Verun is that layer. A deterministic action control gateway that sits between agent intent and execution, deciding ALLOW, HOLD, BLOCK, or ESCALATE — and remembering how each agent normally behaves so it can catch what a static rule never could.

The right moment to catch a problem is before the action executes, not after. Every consequential agent action should be authorized.
Determinism is a feature
The same action should produce the same decision and the same reason — every time. No LLM, no randomness, on the decision path.
Auditability by default
Every decision should be logged, signed, and explainable. Compliance is not an add-on — it is the architecture.

Verun is at pre-seed stage with a working control plane: a deterministic three-layer engine (policy, behavioral, mission), four-decision enforcement, shadow mode, signed receipts, human review, and OTEL export — all live. The moat is execution and data: a deterministic engine, neutrality across providers, and behavioral baselines that compound with usage. We are deliberate about who we build with.
